For another resource to use while writing, you may want to look at: http://www.wordreference.com/. This is primarily a translation dictionary, but it has more than just simple word-for-word translations. It also offers a number of phrases that use the word you’re looking up. The part I often find useful is the Forum Discussions section– here there are numerous past queries from people on how exactly to write common phrases/sentences in another language, and you can submit your own questions to the advisors. It is helpful for making sure you are using the correct grammar when writing something.
I use this *constantly* for English->Spanish translation, but it appears to be equally useful for Spanish->English. Hope this helps!
